MaKami Education Foundation (MEF) is a registered charity with offices in Edmonton and Calgary, Alberta.
Our mission is to empower individuals facing physical, mental, and socio-economical challenges to achieve their educational goals by removing the barriers that stand in their way.
Through tailored services and support, we work with a diverse range of students
across Alberta to help them succeed, including but not limited to:

- Indigenous Peoples
- Persons with disabilities
- Victims of human trafficking
- Individuals struggling with addictions
- Students suffering from various socio-economical barriers

- Financial Assistance for living expenses
- English as a Second Language (ESL) Training
- Document Translation
- Career counselling
- Metal health counselling and support
- Job skills training and assistance
- Housing assistance
- Childcare support
- Scholarships and Bursaries for tuition, books and supplies
