MaKami Education Foundation (MEF) is a registered charity with offices in Edmonton and Calgary, Alberta. Our mission is to support MaKami College in empowering individuals facing physical, mental, and socio-economic barriers to achieve their educational goals by removing the obstacles that stand in their way.
We improve lives through the transforming power of education, because when a student succeeds, whole families and communities benefit.
Receiving the funds after completing my studies helped me alleviate student loan debt and [allowed me to] invest in my professional development as a healthcare aide.
